Colleen, you live in paradise!
It’ll be so wonderful, you’ll probably want to live there all summer long! I know I would. Our deck in the back–and the front, too, actually–has a padded swing and we can get to it either through the master bedroom or the family room on the other side of the house as it goes all the way across the back. We love turning the stereo up and swinging and reading (and sometimes sleeping). Warm weather can’t come quick enough.
WOW! That’s quite an undertaking. And late in the season to boot. I know you like your deck, but I predict you’ll love your screen porch. There is nothing quite like sitting out there during a rain storm. Enjoy!
Terrific plans! We know you’ll love the screen porch; wonderful in summer and fall!!
Congratulations – love to you both.
We just replaced our rotting deck with a screened porch too. Best thing we ever did!! You will love it – nothing beats a non-buggy, rain-sheltered, shady place to sit and relax!
Could we put our reservation in now so when the rates go up we will have a place for the sleeping bag?
Donnie will be so impressed! A screened in porch will be wonderful. You must be thrilled!
It’s busy here. Amy and family here for Christmas and Becky, Josh and Fletcher(new granddog}
coming tomorrow. Merry Christmas!
