It’s been Bike Week up here for the whole week. Thousands and thousands of bikers. It’s noisy. There’s lots more traffic. But, they’re needed by our tourist businesses and so, it’s good. They’ll all go home today & tomorrow and we’ll go back to being a sleepy little town for about a week or so. Then the rest of the vacationers will arrive to stay for July and August.
We did the tourist thing at the beginning of the month and spent a weekend in Ogunquit, Maine. It’s not that far from us and we stayed off the interstates getting there so we wound our way through New Hampshire and Maine on a beautiful Friday afternoon. After checking in, we made our way to The Marginal Way to do the walk. It was a gorgeous day to walk along the ocean and the flowers along the walk smelled delightful. We’ve been there a couple of times but on Saturday, we found a sandy beach. It was beautiful and there were no rocks!

We were back over working at dad’s house yesterday. The hard part is since the house is being shown, we can’t leave anything out between our workdays. We usually spend a couple of hours there and then have to make sure the house is “showable” before leaving.
I’m enjoying a new computer – and found out how to do movies of photos. Yeah, I can hear some of you groaning now. In any case, click the YouTube link below to see some photos from 2006.
